Update on COVID-19

Additional helpers for projects at home.

We've been working on projects at our home. But we have additional helpers!

We are living in difficult times! Like you, our family is juggling new demands like homeschooling, remote work, and social distancing. We know many people are noticing repair items around the house. Or you may be ready to start a project that used to be on the “back burner.”

We are all spending more time at home, and we wanted to let you know that we are ready to serve you.

Our work is considered “essential” by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security/CISA guidance on critical infrastructure workers (see 3/28/20 memorandum). We are adhering to the strategies recommended by our insurance company, as well as best practices of industry experts.

To protect the health of our clients, vendors, and ourselves, we have implemented the following social distancing and hygiene protocols:

  • Maintain 6 feet of distance from other people (forgo normal business etiquette such as shaking hands)

  • Wear masks when shopping for supplies/tools

  • Wash hands frequently for 20 seconds, or use hand sanitizer if sink not available

  • Regularly disinfect commonly touched items (such as tools, equipment, light switches, door knobs, car door handles, ladders, and toolboxes)

  • If we are installing items that our client may come into contact with, we will disinfect those as well (such as light fixtures, doors, etc)

  • For disinfection, we will use diluted household bleach solution or other disinfectant as appropriate

  • If necessary, postpone upcoming jobs that may put us or our clients at risk
